Scottish blogger JAC & The Box | New hair

I am going to be honest with you – I have been cutting my hair with kitchen scissors for approximately a year. I used to work with a hairdresser through my blog which was incredible but like all good things, it had to come to an end. But at the weekend I treated myself to new hair.

Basically, I was lying in bed one night scrolling through my own Instagram – don’t pretend you don’t do it – and I really missed my blonde hair. Not even blonde, just lighter hair.

I dyed my hair dark brown last year around October time because after a week in Croatie my hair had turned blue. I had put a purple dye over the blonde and then in the sun it turned blue. It was interesting…very interesting.

Anyway, I messaged one of my friends on Facebook who I know is an incredible hairdresser and asked if he could do me a solid and make me feel beautiful again. And boy did he.

So I headed along to the salon he is currently in, which was Rebel Rebel, in the West End and sat in the little hairdresser hair ready for the magic to happen. I knew I had a lot, and I mean a lot, of colour in my hair from box dyes and random purples and pinks I have thrown on my locks. So I knew the challenge was going to be hard. But oh boy Graeme accepted that challenge and I absolutely love my hair.
