In my last couple of outfit photos I have been in sort-of smart clothes. I had the one about the clear out and then I had the one about The Coat which both entailed me dressing in something very out of the ordinary for myself. Becuase usually I go comfy casual.
Ask anyone who has ever met me before what I was wearing and they are more than likely to say: “She was in black skinny jeans, a baggy tee, converse and a hoodie under her coat. I think it was leather or denim.”
Basically, I am predictable. I have a routine. And it’s so easy. I never have to really think and thats cool with me. And everybody expects it. Maybe if we go to the pub or out for dinner I will put on different shoes and maybe even a ‘nice’ baggy top. But let’s not kid outselves – it is comfort.
Anyway, long rambly chat aside, here is my latest outfit.
I say latest, ask anyone in my office, this is quite literally what I wear every day. But maybe a different jacket. But then I bought this coat. It is a brand new one from New Look and holy hell it is thin. Like this thing is just for the look because it is not warm whatsoever.
This bag has, over the last year, become my go to and I absolutely adore it. However I after scouring the internet for hours I actually found it for a lot less that I originally paid and there are two plays on it. So the first one is pretty much identical and I now want that too and the other is a bit more classy and would be lovely if you are looking for something to brighten up a LBD. Both are that little bit cheaper than this Zara one that I picked up for £30.
But I love it. At the moment it is totally plain with nothing on it but I am considering sewing a couple of my badges I have. I was going to add them to my denim jacket but I love that too much to touch it with anything so I think I am going to do some diy on this number.
